Three Saros Art Form (New York, NY)

The Duraframe Design Team was contacted regarding this private job in NYC, which consisted of a multi-curved art volume that extended through 2 floors of a sky rise tower in mid-town Manhattan. Upon reviewing the plans, Duraframe noted that this was all designed out of Structural Steel. So through the expertise of its design staff, Duraframe was able to redesign these curved structural members out of Light Gauge metal Curv-Trak products, saving the installers time and money.

These structural pieces were pre-fabricated in half lengths with a staggered splice connection so they could fit in the freight elevator, and final connections were simply screw fastened before these were lifted into place. Request your Curv-Trak quote today with this easy to use Fillable Form. Or contact one of our design staff for help with a pre-assembled solution on your next project.
